Job Description
GPS is excited to announce that a local client in Moore, OK is hiring now for over 500 general labor food production jobs. Positions include tamale wrappers, food prep workers, hot food packers, cold food packers, kitchen staff, document control workers, quality assurance workers, shipping and receiving workers, and sanitation workers. These positions all are temp to hire and with potential for growth within.
What you need to know:
-This is a FOOD production warehouse.
-Some, NOT all positions can be in varying temperatures. Most warehouse is room temperature however some departments are specific to cold and hot food product. For example, if your department involves cooking boiling meat in a large tub this would be considered a hot work environment and we would advise you prior to making the job offer.
-NO experience needed, full training first 1-2 weeks
-Working schedule includes all shifts, Mon-Fri.
-OVERTIME is currently needed several times throughout the week and most Saturdays
Dress code:
-Hard hat, hair net, work vest, and steel toe & non-slip rubber boots.
-Jewelry and/or piercings not allowed inside facility
-No heavy makeup or scented lotions/creams
Responsibilities:
-Prep: place bagged meats on conveyor belts, general labor duties, no heavy lifting required.
-Packers: package freshly cooked meat, general labor duties, no heavy lifting required.
-Sanitation: Industrial cleaning; hosing down equipment and brushing as needed.
