Do you live near Oceanside or Vista? Do you enjoy working with a team? GPS is now hiring for a food prep associate job for a local client in Oceanside, CA.
What you need to know:
-This is a FOOD production warehouse.
-Working schedule is 10+ hours, 6 days per week
-2 schedules for 1st shift available:
----- 5am-1:30pm, 8am-4:30pm Mon-Fri.
Dress code:
-Hard hat, hair net, work vest, steel toe boots.
-Jewelry and/or piercings not allowed inside facility
Responsibilities:
Coordinate with the supervisor and lead on which batches are required to meet the production schedule for your shift.
· Supervise and coordinate the raw material to avoid contamination and responsible for the proper storage / identification of raw materials.
· May be responsible for check ware equipment, metal detection, identifying and documenting cross-contamination, production errors, quality line checks, isolating product that needs to be reviewed by QA, and a variety of documentation and production reporting
· This may include an understanding of efficiencies when handling, setup, startup, production, feeding the line, labeling, stacking, sorting, preparing for shipping, and other miscellaneous tasks. Responsible to keep work areas organized and clean.
· Perform other job duties as required by the supervisor or leader.
